Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about drop-ins, overnights, home access, and how booking works. Still unsure? Reach out anytime.

What services does Annalee offer?
Two core services: drop-in visits ($20 each) for daytime feeding, potty breaks, and play; and overnight pet sitting ($65 per night + mileage) for in-home companionship while you’re away.
What is included in a drop-in visit?
Each drop-in typically includes feeding, fresh water, potty or litter care, playtime or walks as appropriate, medication if needed, and a quick check that the home looks secure and normal.
How does overnight pet sitting work?
Annalee stays in your home overnight so your pets keep their familiar environment and routines. Care covers evening through morning—meals, potty breaks, meds, and companionship—plus optional extras like bringing in mail or watering plants.
Why is mileage added to overnight rates?
Overnight stays are priced at $65 per night plus mileage based on travel to your home. The mileage amount is confirmed during booking so there are no surprises.
Do I need a meet & greet?
Yes—for new clients, a free meet & greet is the first step. It lets Annalee meet your pets, learn routines, review home access, and make sure everyone is a good fit before any paid sit.
How will Annalee enter my home?
Access is arranged during the meet & greet—key, lockbox, smart lock, or another secure method you prefer. Safety of your home and pets always comes first.
Can she administer medication?
Yes. Provide clear written instructions (and any supplies) at the meet & greet. More complex medical care can be discussed case by case.
Will you take in mail, water plants, or rotate lights?
Absolutely—just note what you need when you book. These small home-care extras help the house feel tended while you’re gone.
What kinds of pets do you sit?
Dogs and cats are the primary focus. Other small pets may be possible— mention them when you reach out so care can be planned properly.
How can I see if Annalee is already booked?
Use the Availability page. It syncs with her Apple Calendar on iPhone—days marked Booked are unavailable, and Open days are more likely free. Event titles stay private. You can also text (615) 239-7774 to confirm multi-night stays.
What areas do you serve?
Annalee serves Mt. Juliet, Old Hickory, Brentwood, and other communities around Nashville. If you’re nearby and not sure you’re in range, text or email—mileage for overnights is confirmed before booking.
Do you offer housesitting as well?
Yes. Alongside pet care, Annalee can help with housesitting extras—bringing in mail, watering plants, rotating lights, and keeping an eye on the home while you’re away.
How do I book?
Text (615) 239-7774, email annaleepoole@icloud.com, or use the contact form with your dates, service type, and pet details. Annalee will follow up to schedule a meet & greet or confirm availability.
